周次：第9周日期：4月22日 内容：实习教育（实习的目的、意义及要求）

为了切实提高我们的翻译能力，检查我们对已学翻译理论和技巧的熟悉与掌握程度，以及加强理论与实践相结合的能力，学校为我们提供了长达8周的翻译实习的机会。通过这次翻译实习，我想我们一定可以提高运用所学翻译知识的能力。同时，在翻译过程中遇到的问题也会提高我们解决问题的能力。翻译是一门综合性较强的学科，想要达到较理想的翻译结果，必须自己查阅大量资料，阅读大量信息，尽可能扩展自己的知识面。我很期待这次实习，因为我想我一定会学到很多不同方面的知识，提高自己自觉查询资料的能力。我已经为这次翻译实践做好准备！

周次：第10周 日期：4月29日 内容：确定翻译文本（选材原因、文体特点） 在上周老师的讲话中，我了解到实际中的翻译项目一般都是规定在有限的时间内，由一个翻译工作坊（工作组）共同完成。分工完成后的译稿还需由一名负责人润色，这样可以达到风格的一致性，而且术语会更丰富一些。遵照老师的建议，我们班的同学几乎都已经分好小组。我们小组也不例外，已经准备好模拟真正的翻译工作坊，全力以赴，争取顺利完成实习。

首先，我们小组要做的第一件事就是要确定翻译文本。经过了一番小讨论和一段小插曲后，我们决定选择《Media Now》作为英翻中的内容，《商务礼仪》作为中翻英的材料。今天我们在图书馆查阅资料的时候，发现

周次：第11周 日期：5月6日 内容： 查阅相关文献（阅读理解翻译材料） 本周我们已经开始着手于英译汉的翻译工作，虽然我们已经确定翻译“全球媒介”，但是还是把其他重要的章节，重要的部分也通读了一遍。我想找到语感，熟悉这本书还是很重要的，我想这不仅对了解作者的写作手法、表达习惯等有所帮助，还能扩展自己在媒介这一方面的知识。

根据实习内容，这周以“查阅相关文献，阅读理解翻译材料”为主。所以这周我们主要阅读了相关的全球媒体的中文资料，以及大量相关的英文资料。我发现有很多专业都是需要我们去慢慢接触，认识，然后逐渐深入了解。现在，我很喜欢学习欧洲国家媒介的历史，如果

没有这次翻译大实习的活动，我一定对很多西方国家的重要文化信息都没有接触的机会。我想这样主动的学习，记忆一定会更加深刻。

通过阅读，我了解到欧洲国家曾经因为媒体互通的问题，欧洲联盟提到过“无边疆电视”的计划，并且为此做出很大努力，很多贡献。但是由于文化、语言等差异和不同，大家都希望收看、收听、阅读自己母语的节目和书籍，所以这一计划破灭了。

我会付出更多的努力，向西方国家文化和语言靠拢，努力了解更多，认真吸收更多，以去其糟粕取其精华的精神学习和借鉴。

周次：第12周日期：5月12日 内容： 翻译（1）创建术语表

根据实习内容，本周主要以“创建术语表”为主。我在翻译资料的时候，有一个习惯就是新建一个word文档，把遇到的生词敲在上面，然后联网在“金山词霸”上面查词，或者用《牛津高阶第六版》进行查阅，并且不定期复习这些生词和例句。

现在我在翻译实习的时候，一般也是采用这种方式，记录的形式可能有所不同，但是收获是相同的。我想，一定要记到脑子里面，那才是实实在在的。

在翻译过程中，我发现术语都出现在人名、地名、组织名称、公司名称、电信公司等。让我记忆犹新的就是“AT&T”的翻译，因为这个词在生活中比较常见，是

American Telephone & Telegraph的缩写形式，中文意思是“美国电话电报公司”。还有Rupert Murdoch，起初这个词我并没有查，因为上学期在报刊学的课上老师讲过这个人，鲁伯特·默多克，我印象尤深。他出生于澳大利亚墨尔本以南30英里的一个农场，是美国新闻和媒体经营者，目前是新闻集团的主要股东，董事长兼行政总裁。以股票市值来计算，他的新闻集团已是世界上最大的跨国媒体集团。另外，我还记住了magnate这个词，“ 巨头，富豪，权贵，大资本家”之意。联想到magnificent（宏大的，庄严的，堂皇的；(衣服、装饰等)华丽的；极其动人的；(体型)优美的，健壮的；〔口语〕顶呱呱的）这个词就更容易记了。此外，我还查到了tycoon, baron, the titan, pundit也有“巨头、大亨”之意。

又是一个后知后觉的周记，有时一忙，就有点昏花了，老是会有事情没有按计划完成，以后要更加注意自己的效率了。时间真的是太快了，我都没反应过来，新的一个星期就翩然而至。上周的点滴已经要珍藏在脑海里。

今天周一本来应该是室外升旗仪式，由于天气阴冷，改成了室内升旗仪式，我还是第一次知道有室内升旗仪式的存在。全体师生收看校电视台，看着电视里学生出旗升旗的画面，所有的学生都一样整齐严肃的站着，班主任，任课老师也都在班级里，少先队员行队礼，集体唱国歌， 听国旗下讲话，没有一个环节少掉，秩序依然一样好。班主任要求每个学生行队礼的时候必须把手套脱掉，站立的时候必须是立正的姿势，双手不允许塞进口袋。我很受感动，有时候，我们不只是有在大庭广众下要求孩子们表现良好，即使是在自己的班级里，也要时刻严格要求自己。

这些看似苛刻斤斤计较的要求，对于孩子们的成长起到很重要的作用，他们很懂规矩，已经养成了良好的习惯。这些二年级的孩子们就已经很尊敬老师，友爱同学，不嘲笑别人，会关心帮助生病的小朋友，会及时把课堂作业处理好，会回家自觉听写单词，自觉到老师那单元过关，会把手里的垃圾分类放进班级的垃圾桶，排着整齐的队伍去食堂吃饭……吃饭的时候，他们会把食堂阿姨端来的饭一一接力往最里面传，也就是最里面的孩子最先拿到饭，等到所有的人拿到饭了他们会很默契的开吃，每五个人一份汤，他们也都是很谦让的帮别人盛到碗里，一起分着喝，如果有时候发饭后水果，最先吃完的小朋友会主动请命，有秩序的一一分发，苹果，橘子，香蕉，大枣，或者是梨子，他们没有任何人挑三拣四，很自觉的接受属于自己的那份，我觉得这很难得，因为我听过有个四年级的班级，发水果很难顺利进行，都沦落到像抓阄一样的摸水果的地步(总有一部分人觉得自己小小了，难看了)。我听了觉得很滑稽，虽然可以理解这些孩子的行为，但是和我们二年级的班级的孩子们比，他们真的有点倒退了。

这是一个习惯问题，和年级无关，和所谓的面子工程无关，好的习惯是孩子们一辈子的财富。我们的孩子经济上可以不富裕，但是，精神素养上一定是不可以缺的。一个集体的力量是巨大的。好的班主任，素养的高的老师，树立的良好班风，立下的班规，是塑造孩子们品格的模子。班主任陈老师的的管理班级的方法，我是真心的赞赏。而且我相信，我们班级的小朋友即使是到了六年级，这些好习惯好班风也是会保持的。（m.Wei508.com 实用文书网）

班主任陈老师也带他们数学。上周，陈老师评选出12位优秀数学作业 之星，他们是数学作业得的星星最多的同学。并自己掏钱给他们买了奖品--很漂亮很实用的小笔记，作业本，橡皮等，并再班级晨会上公开表扬了这些同学，发放奖品，同时鼓励更多的同学像他们看齐。并许诺，下半个学期的作业从现在截止的算起，重新积累星星，学期末再评选一次。知道老师顾老师，带英语，她也有自己的一套鼓励模式。她用的是自己做的流动小花，每次作业一个a星换一个小花，5朵小花换一个印章，5个印章换一个创意小奖状，最后发放奖品。我看到她自己掏钱在网上买了好多学习用品。看那摆弄哪些小玩意时得意的笑脸，我真心觉得和孩子们在一起的老师，是永远年轻的永远有一颗童心永远都会在私下里对可爱的东西大惊小怪，很喜欢很向往这样的状态。

周记1

这一周从学生转型到老师，我感触极深，受益匪浅。

面对第一次上台授课，既期待也有少许紧张。为了上好第一堂课，仅仅一个版面的内容，却奋身备战到凌晨一点!第一堂英语课大获好评，第二堂课班主任石老师微笑地对我竖起大拇指。

先稍稍总结我的实习表现：精心的设计了教案，台风不错，教态自然大方，不慌不忙，亲切近人，自信，语言连贯紧凑，应用现代教学手段“多媒体”进行教学，有较好的课程导入方法，奖评制度吸引学生目光，能与孩子们交流思想，平时知道他们的作业解题及批改，具备教师优良的道德情操，严格履行了教师职责……

大家一直这么评价：第一次上台教课，这种水平已经是非常不错了。指导老师夸我很老练，让我稍稍有些成就感。缺点：英语课因不能很好地掌握时间分配，前部分讲解太多，导致内容重点不够突出，及一些小的细节问题等。依照班主任石老师的话就是：如果理论知识再稍讲慢一些，就很好了。

我在教室口语上还有待提高。对某些单词的发音还要多加练习，注意如“the”在元音音素前和在辅音音素前的发音是不同的，还有在发出课堂指令时要简洁明了。因为我对课堂指令操作时还存在着问题，如有时候会说一半英文一半中文，显得不熟练。导师建议我要找点专门的资料要反复背，以熟练。我决心要勤奋苦练，做到更好。

实习期间让我深深体会到教师的艰辛和责任感。亦忙亦累，累的甚至在回家仅十五分钟距离的公交车上都睡着了。有一天上午差不多上了三节课，嗓子都疼得有些嘶哑。但看到那一张张热情笑脸，看到孩子们跑到我身边问我电话号码和QQ号，看到孩子们拉着我去打羽毛球，看到孩子们乐呵呵的和我合影，看到孩子们期待我为他们的运动会加油，听到孩子们亲切的呼我林老师…既欣慰，也感动。

实习使我们教育浪漫之旅的第一步，我们只是走出了第一步，对于这步，我还是比较满意的，将来的路还很长会遇到暴风雨雪，也许会遇到我们的灿烂，明媚的阳光，但是无论怎样，我们都要勇于面对现实，接受挑战，努力去做好个好老师，路漫漫其修远兮，吾将上下而求索!相信我们一定能行的，将来我们一定会成功的!

课后我走到学生中间去，问他们是否听得懂，有么有什么疑问，有没有什么意见和建议。他们的反映基本上都说听得懂，只是说中文说太多了，应该先说中文在用英文解释。因此我下次上课时就尽量先说中文再用英文解释。

以后的每次上课我都会备好课：备教材、备课标、备学生。我先自己写好教案，与其他组员一起讨论，试进。同时在临睡前，第二天去实习学校的公交车上，以及上课前五分钟，我都会在脑子里回顾下将要上的课的基本步骤。到实习学校我都会将要上的课的教学目标，教学重难点，以及教学步骤和导师说下，让导师给我意见和建议。我觉得这点是很重要的。特别使我们对学生的认知水平不了解。这个时候到时就会告诉我：这个知识点学生学过了，只要复习下即可，或对学生还是新知识，需要详细讲。同时导师们都比较有经验，他们了解学生，知道什么样的知识学生易于接受。所以我每次上课前都会先请教导师然后上讲台。

上完课我都会与导师与其他实习生交流，让他们给我评价。再回学校的车上，我也会反思下今天的教学以及和导师，和学生的相处情况，回到宿舍写下反思日志，反思并总结一天的情况。反思自己课堂上做得好的地方以及不足之处并想出解决办法。第二天上课时我就特别注意提醒自己不要犯同样的错误。

我经常去听其他组员的课，把自己的课与他们的进行比较，找出值得自己学习的地方。

此外我也参加了英语组的集体备课活动。在备课工程中我也积极发表了自己的一些设计想法。有些想法也得到了导师的认可和采纳。当然在与导师的交流中，有时也会出现自己的想法和导师的发生矛盾。这是我就会仔细地分析矛盾的根源，分析导师的观点，然后尽量把两者的精华相结合。如在上unit11备课时，我将有一个活动分成两个表格进行，且中间加入别的活动，导师师认为这样破坏了活动的连贯性，因此就要求把这两个表格合并到最后总结时再做。上课是我讲解的不是很充分，导师通常会叫一个好的学生向我提问，把这个知识点补充完整。

导师很注意板书的有序性。他说因为学生只有了解了教师的习惯后，才能更快地吸收知识。记得有两天，我因为事太忙了，备课不充分，上课时出现了一些错误，导师很严肃的给我指出来，从那以后我每次上课前就是熬夜，也要把课准备充分之后才休息。总之对于导师的意见我都会虚心接受的，我从来不会表现出厌烦或不满的情绪。

在教学过程中，我会可以记住每个学生的名字，并叫出他们的名字，因为学生会觉得如果老师能记住他们的名字，说明老师重视他们。而且对于每个学生的性格、特点我都了如指掌。不管是上课提问还是下课交流时，我是叫他们的名字。

班上有一位学生只有英语不好，其他都很棒，通过和班主任了解，我发现他是由于不喜欢英语，所以就学不好英语，因此对自己就没有了信心。于是，我利用晚自修的时间留下来给他补课，并引导他慢慢的主动学英语，中段考试他的成绩提高了十几分。他自己也很高兴，在留言中他希望我继续关心他的学习。在帮助他的同时，也有许多其他本来不爱学英语的学生也主动来办公室要求一起学习。导师都说现在学生的学习兴趣提高了，并且成绩也有了进步。

另外，我发现学生对老师的评语是很重视的。而且我发现自己在课堂上只会说：very good! 这种评价学生根本不知道自己的优点在哪里，甚至对老师的表扬产生听觉疲劳，“麻木不仁”，久而久之也就不当回事了。因此每一次表扬一定要从具体的一点出发，确确实实抓住学生的闪光点进行表扬。因此我就尽量用各种方式表扬学生。如批改作业时，有进步的学生我会给他们一个笑脸，或写：有进步哦!继续努力!无论如何我都会想办法找出他们的'优点，给予及时表扬，并对错误进行正面反思。而且在改作业的同时，我会把学生容易犯的知识点记录下来，反馈给导师，好让自己和导师在后面的授课中都能注意这些问题，强化他们的知识的薄弱点。这在教学过程中是十分重要的。

Passage 1

The Road to Happiness

There are a great many people who have all the material conditions of happiness, i.e. health and a sufficient innete, and who, nevertheless, are profoundly unhappy. In such cases it would seem as if the fault must lie with a wrong theory as to how to live. In one sense, we may say that any theory as to how to live is wrong. We imagine ourselves more different from the animals than we are. Animals live on impulse, and are happy as long as external conditions are favorable. If you have a cat, it will enjoy life if it has food and warmth and opportunities for an occasional night on the tiles. Your needs are more netplex than those of your cat, but they still have their basis on instinct. In civilized societies, especially in English-speaking societies, this is too apt to be forgotten. People propose to themselves some one paramount objective, and restrain all impulses that do not minister to it.

A businessman may be so anxious to grow rich that to this end he sacrifices health and private affections. When at last he has benete rich, no pleasure remains to him except harrying other people by exhortations to imitate his noble example. Many rich ladies, although nature has not endowed them with any spontaneous pleasure in literature or art, decide to be thought cultured, and spend boring hours learning the right thing to say about fashionable new books that are written to give delight, not to afford opportunities for dusty snobbism.

Passage 2

Love Is Difficult

It is good to love, but love is difficult. For one human being to love another human being is perhaps the most difficult task that has been entrusted to us — the ultimate task, the final test and proof, the work for which all other work is merely preparation. That is why young people, who are beginners in everything, are not yet capable of love: it is something they must learn. With their whole being, with all their forces, gathered around their solitary, anxious, upward-beating heart, they must learn to love. But learning time is always a long, secluded time ahead and far on into life, and is solitude, a heightened and deepened kind of aloneness for the person who loves. Loving does not at first mean merging, surrendering or uniting with another person; it is a high inducement for the individual to ripen, to benete something in himself, to benete world in himself for the sake of another person; it is a great, demanding claim on him, something that chooses him and calls him to vast distances. Only in this sense, as the task of working on themselves, may young people use the love that is given to them. Merging and surrendering and every kind of netmunion is not for them, who must still, for a long, long time, save and gather themselves; it is the ultimate, it is perhaps that for which human lives are as yet barely large enough.

Business of Insurance Companies

Insurance netpanies do two types of business. One is general insurance against various forms of risk, and the other is long-term insurance which is mainly life insurance.

General insurers will agree to pay a person or netpany a sum of money in the event of something happening or not happening. It’s a big business today. If the project succeeds, shareholders in your netpany will expect to be paid a dividend. If you ask an insurer to underwrite your project, then he will require a payment in advance, a premium. If the project succeeds, he keeps the premium, but you don’t pay him anything else. Paying a premium to an insurer or underwriter is often cheaper than paying a dividend to shareholders. If fewer dividends are paid to shareholders, then more money can be kept as retention to finance the netpany’s next project.

Another type of insurance business is the life insurance. It differs basically from general insurance in that it is based not on risk but on certainty — the certainty that each of us will one day die. Life insurance is the basis of pension funds which provide for retirement and guard against other contingencies such as ill-health, but is best seen by the financial economist as a means of collecting many small savings to put together into large investments, in short, as a form of intermediation.

Seasonal Affective Disorder

Some people feel sad or depressed during the winter months in northern areas of the world. They may have trouble eating or sleeping. They suffer from a condition known as Seasonal Affective Disorder, or S-A-D.

Victims of S-A-D suffer its effects during the short, dark days of winter. The problems are most severe in the months when there are fewer hours of daylight. When spring arrives, these signs disappear and S-A-D victims feel well again.

The National Mental Health Association reports that S-A-D can affect anyone. The group says young people and women are at the highest risk for the disorder. It says that an estimated 25 percent of the American population suffers from some form of S-A-D. About 5 percent suffer from a severe form of the disorder. Many people in other parts of the world also have the condition.

The idea of health problems linked to a lack of light is not new. Scientists have discussed the issue since the beginning of medicine. More than two-thousand years ago, the Greek doctor Hippocrates noted that the seasons affect human emotions.

Today, experts do not fully understand S-A-D, and yet they agree that it is a very real disorder.

To treat the disorder, victims of S-A-D do not need to wait until spring. Experts know that placing affected individuals in bright light each day eases the condition. There are other things people can do to ease the problem. They can increase the sunlight in their homes and workplaces and spend more time outdoors in the fresh air during the day.

One study found that walking for an hour in winter sunlight was as effective as spending two-and-one-half hours under bright light indoors.

Passage 5

Success Is a Choice

All of us ought to be able to brace ourselves for the predictable challenges and setbacks that crop up everyday. If we expect that life won’t be perfect, we’ll be able to avoid that impulse to quit. But even if you are strong enough to persist the obstacle course of life and work, sometimes you will encounter an adverse event that will netpletely knock you on your back.

Whether it’s a financial loss, the loss of respect of your peers or loved ones, or some other traumatic events in your life, these major setbacks leave you doubting yourself and wondering if things can ever change for the better again.

Adversity happens to all of us, and it happens all the time. Some form of major adversity is either going to be there or it’s lying in wait just around the corner. To ignore adversity is to succumb to the ultimate self delusion.

But you must recognize that history is full of examples of men and women who achieved greatness despite facing hurdles so steep that easily could have crashed their spirit and left them lying in the dust. Moses was a stutterer, yet he was called on to be the voice of God. Abraham Lincoln overcame all difficulties during the Civil War to benete our arguable greatest president ever. Helen Keller made an impact on the world despite being deaf, dumb, and blind from an early age. Franklin Roosevelt had polio.

There are endless examples. These were people who not only looked adversity in the face but learned valuable lessons about overneting difficult circumstances and were able to move ahead.

Passage 6

Is Television a Blessing or a Curse?

It is universally accepted that television is playing an important part in people’s lives. But, there is an ongoing heated discussion as to whether television is a blessing or a curse.

Television keeps one better informed about current affairs, allows one to follow the latest developments in politics and science, and offers a great variety of programs which are both instructive and stimulating. The most distant countries, the strangest customs and the most attractive scenes of nature are brought right into one’s room or household.

However, some people insist that television is a curse rather than a blessing. They argue that it has brought about many serious problems. The major one is its effects on young people. Children are now so used to getting their information and entertainment from television that their literacy as well as physical ability has been greatly weakened. Even worse than that, vulgar netmercials and indecent programs may cultivate their bad tastes, distort their view-points towards human life to such a degree that their minds might be corrupted.

To sum up, television has both advantages and disadvantages. What ever effects it has, one point is certain, television in itself is neither good nor bad. It is the use to which it is put that determines its value to society.

周次：第10周 日期：4月29日 内容：确定翻译文本（选材原因、文体特点） 在上周老师的讲话中，我了解到实际中的翻译项目一般都是规定在有限的时间内，由一个翻译工作坊（工作组）共同完成。分工完成后的译稿还需由一名负责人润色，这样可以达到风格的一致性，而且术语会更丰富一些。遵照老师的建议，我们班的同学几乎都已经分好小组。我们小组也不例外，已经准备好模拟真正的翻译工作坊，全力以赴，争取顺利完成实习。

首先，我们小组要做的第一件事就是要确定翻译文本。经过了一番小讨论和一段小插曲后，我们决定选择《media now》作为英翻中的内容，《商务礼仪》作为中翻英的材料。今天我们在图书馆查阅资料的时候，发现可以翻译的东西很多，其实这些都可以作为我们平时自学的材料。根据规定，无论是中翻英、还是英翻中，内容材料必须保证native, 拿到《media now》这本书的时候，我们四个人对此都很感兴趣。我们渴望多了解一些关于媒体新闻、文化与技术的信息，而且我们发现这本由清华大学出版社于2004年出版的书很与时俱进，内容丰富，涵盖面广，有实景、照片、图表。最终，我们小组决定翻译“全球媒介”章节，我们觉得话语很客观，内容新颖，也有我们想了解的信息和不认识的术语，通过查阅我们一定都能有所收获。我想，经过这次翻译我们一定能更深刻、更用心的了解西方文化。

根据实习内容，这周以“查阅相关文献，阅读理解翻译材料”为主。所以这周我们主要阅读了相关的全球媒体的中文资料，以及大量相关的英文资料。我发现有很多专业都是需要我们去慢慢接触，认识，然后逐渐深入了解。现在，我很喜欢学习欧洲国家媒介的历史，如果 没有这次翻译大实习的活动，我一定对很多西方国家的重要文化信息都没有接触的机会。我想这样主动的学习，记忆一定会更加深刻。

通过阅读，我了解到欧洲国家曾经因为媒体互通的问题，欧洲联盟提到过“无边疆电视”的计划，并且为此做出很大努力，很多贡献。但是由于文化、语言等差异和不同，大家都希望收看、收听、阅读自己母语的节目和书籍，所以这一计划破灭了。

根据实习内容，本周主要以“创建术语表”为主。我在翻译资料的时候，有一个习惯就是新建一个word文档，把遇到的生词敲在上面，然后联网在“金山词霸”上面查词，或者用《牛津高阶第六版》进行查阅，并且不定期复习这些生词和例句。

现在我在翻译实习的时候，一般也是采用这种方式，记录的形式可能有所不同，但是收获是相同的。我想，一定要记到脑子里面，那才是实实在在的。

在翻译过程中，我发现术语都出现在人名、地名、组织名称、公司名称、电信公司等。让我记忆犹新的就是“at&t”的翻译，因为这个词在生活中比较常见，是

american telephone & telegraph的缩写形式，中文意思是“美国电话电报公司”。还有rupert murdoch，起初这个词我并没有查，因为上学期在报刊学的课上老师讲过这个人，鲁伯特·默多克，我印象尤深。他出生于澳大利亚墨尔本以南30英里的一个农场，是美国新闻和媒体经营者，目前是新闻集团的主要股东，董事长兼行政总裁。以股票市值来计算，他的新闻集团已是世界上最大的跨国媒体集团。另外，我还记住了magnate这个词，“ 巨头，富豪，权贵，大资本家”之意。联想到magnificent（宏大的，庄严的，堂皇的；(衣服、装饰等)华丽的；极其动人的；(体型)优美的，健壮的；〔口语〕顶呱呱的）这个词就更容易记了。此外，我还查到了tycoon, baron, the titan, pundit也有“巨头、大亨”之意。
