In 1995, I entered the Nanjing University of Science & Technology (NUST) -- widely considered one of the China’s best engineering schools. During the following undergraduate study, my academic records kept distinguished among the whole department. At the period of my graduate study, my overall GPA(3.77/4.0) ranked top 5% in the department. In the second semester, I became teacher assistant that is given to talented and matured students only. This year, I won the Acer Scholarship as the one and only candidate in my department, which is the ultimate accolade for distinguished students endowed by my university. Presently, I am preparing my graduation thesis and trying for the honor of Excellent Graduation Thesis.

Research experience and academic activity

When a sophomore, I joined the Association of AI Enthusiast and began to narrow down my interest for my future research. With the tool of OpenGL and Matlab, I designed a simulation program for transportation scheduling system. It is now widely used by different research groups in NUST. I assumed and fulfilled a sewage analysis & dispose project for Nanjing sewage treatment plant. This was my first practice to convert a laboratory idea to a commercial product.

In retrospect, I find myself standing on a solid basis in both theory and experience, which has prepared me for the Ph.D. program. My future research interests include: Network Scheduling Problem, Heuristic Algorithm research (especially in GA and Neural network), Supply chain network research, Hybrid system performance analysis with Petri nets an.

2.漫协是一个为动漫爱好者们提供的平台，我个人本身就很喜欢动漫这种文化，能够很好地抓住大众的喜好，让协会的活动能够被同学们喜欢，得以成功举办

3.在宣传部工作了一个学期，积极参加了协会举办的各种活动后，我对协会的工作流程已经基本熟悉，对协会的工作有了较为深刻的理解。同时与各部门的人员都很熟识，便于与大家的沟通和工作的开展。

如果在这次竞选中有幸当选的话，我将从以下几个方面入手：

1.让协会更加规范化，尽量减少成员的散漫态度，让大家能尽力地为协会贡献自己的力量，使协会能正常运转，例如每次的会议迟到记录、签到总结，活动参与积极程度的记录，其结果直接与评优相挂钩等，保证在稍微严格的条件下又不失民主、公平。

2.丰富协会的活动，有条件的话让漫协从单单的娱乐性社团像有实际意义的方向发展。例如从儿童关爱方面入手：在中国动漫是儿童的理想乡，漫协可以利用自己优势为儿童们做些事，让活动更有意义。

3.让更多人所了解动漫文化，做一些宣传的活动，推荐、分享一些好看并有深度意义的动漫，减少在大多数中国人印象中动漫就是给小孩子看的幼稚的东西的错误观念，为中国动漫的发展从思想层面做一定的贡献

4、提升自己的执行能力。

①贯彻落实社里的各项规章制度的执行能力。

②把握大局的综合协调能力。应该说，这是一位会长长必须具备基本能力。走上这一岗位之后，我将从提高自己的执行能力和动手能力着手，带头转变观念，扎实推进工作，努力将我社的发展意向、老师的指导思想转化为全体成员的工作热情和创造能力

我热切希望我能和大家一道伴随动漫协会一起成长。
